About Last Disc
Sony has announced that physical disc production for new games on PlayStation consoles ends starting January 2028 (PlayStation.Blog). Last Disc is a free tracker for collectors and anyone who still wants to own their games: every PS5 and PS4 disc release, whether the full game is actually on the disc, where it's cheapest new or used, and which limited and collector's editions are dropping.
Where the data comes from
- On-disc status: hands-on tests by DoesItPlay? (linked on every game), plus reader reports we verify.
- Collector's editions: publishers' public store listings (currently Limited Run Games).
- Prices: retailer feeds (Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, eBay). We only show prices pulled from a store; we never estimate them.
